Aug. 3, 2006 Ｔｈｅ Ｌｏｃｋｓ

今日は学校の後AnjieがThe Locksという運河みたいなところに連れて行ってくれました。
仕組みは運河なんですが、Anjieが言うには「これは運河ではなく、ただのThe Locksだ」といってました。水しぶきがすごい！

そこにはフィッシュラダーという魚の上っていく階段があり、その横にはガラスがはめ込んであるので、大きなサーモンを見ることが出来ました。

Anjieと仲良しの二人。もうすぐお別れです・・・。

明日は早く寝なければならないので、今日浴衣を来て記念撮影をしました。

Anjie took us to the Locks today. I've never been there when I lived in Seattle before.
There were the locks between the lake Washington and Pugjet Sound and adjust the water level there. We could see a lot of salmons jumping by the locks and it was really fun. Those salmons were so big!! We screamed when big fish jumped and it amazed us a lot.
